Frances Burroughs Nolton
Frances Maria, (Rebecca2, John1) youngest child of Rebecca and Asa Burroughs, was born in Cleveland, Ohio, Sept. 10, 1845. Her childhood was spent in Cleveland. She married at Chicago, Ill., April 18, 1865, to George H. Nolton, who was born in New York City.
Mr. Nolton was a railroad conductor by occupation. He is a member of the Congregational Church.
After a few years residence in Chicago, the family moved to Los Angeles, Cal. Here Mrs. Nolton died Dec. 28, 1885. She was a member of the Episcopal Church. Mr. Nolton is still living in Los Angeles.

Arthur B. (Frances3, Rebecca2, John1) was born in Chicago, Ill., June 21, 1866. A few years later his father moved with his family to Los Angeles, Cal. Here young Arthur was educated. He was married April 7, 1892, to Miss Wilson Potts, of Los Angeles. Mr. Nolton was with the Sante Fe R. R. Co. for a number of years serving as assistant baggage master. He then engaged in real estate business and had built up a large business. He died Feb. 5, 1907. He was greatly loved and respected by all who knew him. Mr. and Mrs. Nolton and their three children were all members of the Congregational Church. The family still resides in Los Angeles.
