Harry Seymour Burroughs

Harry Seymour (Seymour3, Rebecca2, John1) is the oldest son of Seymour L. and Cassie B. Burroughs. He was born at Dunkirk, N. Y., on Sept. 21, 1866. When he was four years old his parents moved to Lafayette, Ind., and he was educated in the public schools of that city.

He was married Oct. 15, 1890, at Felton, Pa., to Miss Rebecca Barton Miller, who was born Aug. 27, 1866, at Village Grau, Pa. They resided in Felton from the time of their marriage until Mar. 25, 1905, when they removed to Brooklyn, N. Y., where they still reside at No. 562 55th St.(1913)

While in Felton, Mr. Burroughs was agent for the Baltimore and Ohio R. R. Co. Since his removal to Brooklyn, he has been employed as special correspondence clerk in charge of rates and tariffs for the Southern Pacific R. R. Co. in New York. Mr. Burroughs attends the Episcopal Church.

Earl A. (Harry4, Seymour3, Rebecca2, John1) was born July 6, 1891, in Felton, Pa. He attended high school at Chester, Pa. His father removed to Brooklyn, N. Y., in 1905. Earl A. chose electrical engineering as his occupation. He is operator for the Interborough Rapid Transit Ry. Co., of New York. He is unmarried.

Mr. Burroughs is a member of the Methodist Church.

Harry Seymour, (Harry4, Seymour3, Rebecca2, John1) son of Harry S., Sr., and Rebecca Burroughs, was born May 14, 1897, in Felton, Pa. His parents moved to Brooklyn, N. Y., when he was eight years old. He graduated from the Commercial High School at Brooklyn and is a stenographer and clerk by occupation. He is a member of the M. E. church.

Helen May, (Harry4, Seymour3, Rebecca2, John1) only daughter of Harry S. and Rebecca Barton Burroughs, was born May 25, 1904, in Felton, Pa. She is attending the public schools of Brooklyn, N.Y., where her parents now reside.

Helen is a member of the Methodist Church.
